In 1968, when Nixon ran for the Presidency of the United States, he said, "I pledge to you, we will have an honorable end to the war in Vietnam," as part of his campaign. Of course he was the one who, when elected Preident, secretly bombed Cambodia killing countless civilians, and made the country vulnerable to the Khmer Rouger who later killed 2 million civilians.
Are we seeing a repeat?
Nixon also ordered a host of illegal wiretaps on citizens of this country, not unlike today.
